'Signing-on' is the process of submitting your details and being issued with a warrant enabling you to carry out the duties of a Marshal on the closed roads of the TT course.
Traditionally, a form was sent to your home address, you filled it out and sent it back.
Since 2013,we have a method whereby you can sign-on via our website. Not only does this save you time (& the cost of a stamp!) it saves us time and money as well.
Please note that signing-on is necessary for EACH INDIVIDUAL EVENT i.e. each and every TT and each and every MGP/CTT.
Before you can sign-on, you must REGISTER. This is a one-time only process to provide us with your contact details such as home address, email address, date of birth, phone number(s) etc.
We prefer this method rather than sending in your details via email as that takes more time to input the data which can be prone to spelling mistakes.
You can access the site form the link on the left. Outside of each event, e.g. during the winter, it is only possible for people to Register their details in readiness for the next event. please remember, this only ever has to be completed once so if you have EVER Marshalled before, or you have EVER attended an Incident Management Course (IMC) or EVER received a newsletter from us, there is a very good chance you are already in our system so please don't re-register!.
When signing-on is open, usually around January for the TT and at the end of the TT for the MGP/CTT, there is an option available whereby a reminder of your warrant number and password can be sent to you by answering some simple questions such as your email address, postcode and date of birth.
Of course, if you have moved house or changed your email and haven't let us know, we will not be able to identify you and you will have to provide your updated details to the office so we can amend the system and allow you to sign-on. Please don't leave this until the last minute! We know that the TTMA is not at the forefront of anybody's minds when they are moving house but do include us as soon as you can.
